For artists and producers
Your artist record, in one place.
Your identity, releases, rights, credits, splits, and history in one place. You own the record, and you decide who can see it. Free, with nothing to pay.
How it works
Three steps, and nothing to pay.
Create your account
Sign up in a minute. There is no plan to choose, no card to enter, and nothing to cancel later.
Build your record
Your UAC (Universal Artist Code) holds your identity, releases, rights, credits, splits, and history as one connected record instead of scattered files.
Work with labels
Send demos to a label’s inbox, follow approvals, and keep your credits and splits attached to the releases they belong to.
Why volU
Built for the people making the music.
Not a login someone else gives you on their account. The record is yours, and it stays yours.
Your record, controlled by you
The UAC is a persistent record of your identity, releases, rights, credits, splits, and history. You control it, and who can access it.
About volU
volU is building the operating system for the recorded-music industry.
We bring artist data, releases, communication, approvals, rights, and workflows into one place, replacing the emails, spreadsheets, folders, and endless back-and-forth that slow music teams down.
Built for Music
volU helps labels, managers, and artists release faster, make fewer mistakes, and manage more without adding more admin.
At the center is the UAC (Universal Artist Code): a persistent artist record connecting identity, releases, rights, credits, splits, and history. The artist controls their record and who can access it.
One artist. One verified record. Across the industry.
Built Inside the Industry
volU was created by the team behind On The Way Music Company.
We experienced the work of running releases firsthand through On The Way Records, and built volU to make that work easier to manage.
Pricing
Free. Nothing to pay.
Artist and producer accounts are free, with no plan to choose and no card to enter. You are part of a label’s network, not a seat on their subscription. Create an account, or log in from the header if you already have one.
