Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Who we are
This policy covers volU-the-website: the marketing site you are reading now, at whatever domain it is currently published under. It does not cover the volU product (the operations workspace labels use once they have an account); that product has its own in-app privacy policy governing customer and release data, linked from within the product itself.
The operator of this site is volU, Nahum Het 7, Haifa, Israel. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@usevolu.com.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the information you type into it: your name, work email address, company name, and message.
This site does not currently run analytics. The code that would enable it (Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free, privacy-respecting service) ships with the site but stays off until a beacon token is configured for production. Once enabled, it will record page views only, meaning which pages were visited and in what volume, without setting cookies, collecting personal data, or building a profile tied to you across sites or visits, and this section will be updated to describe it in the present tense.
The server that hosts this site keeps standard server logs of requests it receives (for example, IP address, requested URL, and timestamp), which is ordinary operational behavior for any web host.
This is separate from what the volU product collects once a label signs up and starts using it. That is covered by the in-app privacy policy, not this one.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
If you choose to join the label waitlist, we also record your label name, consent and its time. We use contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry and follow up about volU. This rests on our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us, and, where you have asked us to get in touch, on taking steps at your request.
We do not currently run analytics. The site ships with cookie-free analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) built in, switched on only once a beacon token is configured for production; once enabled, we will use it to understand which parts of the site are useful and where to improve it. Because that script does not set cookies or identify individual visitors, we treat it as falling outside the scope of tracking that requires consent.
We keep server logs for security and operational purposes such as diagnosing outages and detecting abuse, which rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward in case you follow up.
This site does not currently run analytics, so there is no page-view data of this kind to retain. Once Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for production, any data it records will be aggregate and cookie-free, not tied to an individual visitor identity we could use to look you up.
Server logs are retained for a limited operational window before being rotated out in the ordinary course of hosting.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise these rights or ask a privacy question, email support@usevolu.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
International transfers
Our hosting and processors may store or process data outside your country of residence. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available (such as standard contractual clauses) to the extent applicable.
Children
This site is intended for business visitors evaluating volU on behalf of a label or company, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site, its processors, or applicable law change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review it periodically.
